the new way...
Learning to love. Last week Christmas mood begin to fill~ the air once again.
Three weeks back, Angie and myself were out window shopping for a Christmas tree, decorations & lights, bringing Christmas magic back from IKEA. This was in preparation for Christmas for the office. Petra and Ben helped out fixing the tree while the lecturers gathered together in good cheer fixing up the pretty blue decoratives..All smiles!
I have a thing for Chistmas trees. They somehow magically melt pain away:D
Two weeks back
A happy moment of exchange of gifts at the office was captured on a few cameras..Perhaps the joy of Christmas in itself is not as thought out to be owning the prettiest tree or the most well decorated office at all, but the main reason in celebrating a very important birthday - the birth of Christ. What joy it is, a time for birthday celebration with the rememberence of the VIP the person we are celebrating.. Jesus. He who loved us when nobody else cared, when all hope is lost, when troubles drown us.He who first loved us!
One week back
Its fantastically sweet to see the Siew's family back re-uniting in PD! We were invited to witness the renewal of vows of uncle and auntie Siew. Love is in the air! Thank God for this special moment. Talking about love and magic, the Christmas spirit built and mounted itself somemore when warmth built at the reunion and rejoicing of all in the family, when all is rejoicing and the kitchen never closes. Returning to a pre-celebration with 2 close gal friends, Angie and Pauline @ a nice cozy restaurant in damansara, tailing it off watching the cutest cartoon of the year 'Bolt', with their major characters Penny&Bolt! The pre-Christmas was liven up with several presentations, carollings and dances! Presentation at ACTS was superb, as the merry faces of the choir group with lovely voices resonating against the walls of voices including Kamini, Michelle,Tessie, Andrew,David,Tasha.. while the other friend faces in the audience includes Priscilla, Carol,Alice..etc. were seen! FGA SJ had a different setting, with a grand and yet cozy feeling with decorations dangling from the ceilings. Familiar faces brought more cheer with Cheryl & Stanley, Pita, Lee Suan, Marilyn, Dominic, YeeLing, Alice, Stephanie, Jarred, Eng Park..
These 2 plays concludes however that we should never overshadow the birthday child, Jesus with any selfish desires to stardom(outshine Jesus) specially on this special day.

Counting blessing:
May got some lovely scented pretty lush Almond soap & jello white slippery stuff to from Melbourne ;) & I got a set of 3 lovely Vanilla candles for christmas! The spark of Christmas returns when everybody gathers enjoying not just the laughter but each other's company, loving one another and caring for each other. As all burdens and pain are put aside.
Casting all thy burdens unto Him for He careth for thee.
